Meet the Team: Princess Zelda
Zelda is our office dog, and we absolutely adore her! She is not only a very well-behaved girl but can, according to Bundesverband Bürohund e.V., like other office dogs, help to reduce stress at the workplace and improve health and the connection between coworkers. She is an eight-year-old, naturally charismatic dog, born to exude warmth, shine, love, and be loved by her humans. She is named after Zelda from the classic action-adventure computer game, The Legend of Zelda.
Zelda adores being petted by humans from the office and outside. When it comes to belly rubs and snuggles, she can’t get enough of them. She is always up for playing with tennis balls and catching sticks with colleagues. Whether out on a hike or strolling through the beautiful Ilmenau town, Zelda surely knows how to cheer up her companions.
Just like any other office dog, Zelda starts her day by walking in nature early in the morning to charge her energy for the work day, followed by a nourishing full breakfast bowl. Here at Brandenburg Labs, Zelda’s role for a productive day includes multiple naps on the cozy couch, snuggles with our team, and running through the office playing with her tennis ball.
She is always there to remind everyone that they need a short break every now and then by licking their knees and elbows. It is her way of showing love and affection while cheering up their moods instantly. When there is a bbq outside, that is a perfect play date for Zelda to play and run around.
When she is not in the office, Zelda likes to walk in nature, greet and meet new people, and play with sticks. Moreover, she likes to stretch her long legs and take relaxing naps on the couch at home.
In the future, she hopes to smell every corner of the world while joining her owners on various adventurous trips.
Fun fact: She physically resembles “Dobby” from the Harry Potter series; both share a few similar features, including bat-like ears.

Zelda ist unser Bürohund, und wir lieben sie über alles! Sie ist nicht nur ein sehr braves Mädchen, sondern kann laut dem Bundesverband Bürohund e.V. – wie andere Bürohunde auch – dazu beitragen, Stress am Arbeitsplatz abzubauen und die Gesundheit sowie den Zusammenhalt unter den Kollegen zu verbessern. Sie ist eine achtjährige, von Natur aus charismatische Hündin, die geboren wurde, um Wärme, Ausstrahlung und Liebe zu versprühen und von ihren Menschen geliebt zu werden. Benannt ist sie nach Zelda aus dem klassischen Action-Adventure-Computerspiel „The Legend of Zelda“.
Zelda liebt es, von Menschen aus dem Büro und von außerhalb gestreichelt zu werden. Wenn es um Bauchstreicheln und Kuscheln geht, kann sie gar nicht genug davon bekommen. Sie ist immer bereit, mit Tennisbällen zu spielen und mit Kollegen Stöckchen zu fangen. Ob auf einer Wanderung oder bei einem Spaziergang durch die schöne Stadt Ilmenau – Zelda weiß ganz genau, wie sie ihre Begleiter aufmuntern kann.
Wie jeder andere Bürohund beginnt Zelda ihren Tag mit einem morgendlichen Spaziergang in der Natur, um Energie für den Arbeitstag zu tanken, gefolgt von einem nahrhaften, reichhaltigen Frühstück. Hier bei Brandenburg Labs gehören zu Zeldas Aufgaben für einen produktiven Tag mehrere Nickerchen auf dem gemütlichen Sofa, Kuscheln mit unserem Team und das Herumtollen im Büro beim Spielen mit ihrem Tennisball.
Sie ist immer zur Stelle, um alle daran zu erinnern, dass sie ab und zu eine kleine Pause brauchen, indem sie ihnen die Knie und Ellbogen ableckt. Das ist ihre Art, Liebe und Zuneigung zu zeigen und gleichzeitig die Stimmung sofort aufzuhellen. Wenn draußen gegrillt wird, ist das für Zelda die perfekte Gelegenheit, um zu spielen und herumzutollen.
Wenn sie nicht im Büro ist, geht Zelda gerne in der Natur spazieren, begrüßt und lernt neue Leute kennen und spielt mit Stöckchen. Außerdem streckt sie gerne ihre langen Beine aus und macht zu Hause auf dem Sofa entspannte Nickerchen.
In Zukunft hofft sie, jeden Winkel der Welt zu erschnüffeln, während sie ihre Besitzer auf verschiedenen abenteuerlichen Reisen begleitet.
Wissenswertes: Sie sieht „Dobby“ aus der Harry-Potter-Reihe physisch ähnlich; beide haben einige gemeinsame Merkmale, darunter Fledermausohren.
