Therefore, we have developed the perfect lifelike audio experience over headphones. Our technology simulates how sound propagates in the real world, making it indistinguishable from reality. 

Together with our partners, we are working towards achieving a perfect auditory illusion, especially via headphones.

Our company relies on a substantial network and extensive knowledge in the fields of basic and applied research, also based on the expertise of our founder, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Karlheinz Brandenburg, best known as co-inventor of mp3.

As a spin-off company of the Technische Universität Ilmenau and the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology, Brandenburg Labs can draw on many years of research in the audio field at these institutions.

We are excited to announce that Brandenburg Labs will be participating in the 2024 AES 5th International Conference on Audio for Virtual and Augmented Reality. The conference will take place from August 19th to 21st at the DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington.

This three-day event is packed with valuable educational content for audio engineers specializing in virtual and augmented reality. It is packed with paper and poster sessions, as well as invited presentations from renowned researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders. The conference will also feature demonstrations, panel discussions, tutorials, and workshops. At the event, we will be showcasing the latest version of our lifelike immersive audio demo. Brandenburg Labs is thrilled to announce that we will be participating in IFA 2024, an international technology tradeshow, held from the 6th – the 10th of September. Hosted at Messe Berlin, the event unites thousands of innovators and companies, creating a platform to connect them with consumers and retailers across various industries.

We are excited to announce that we will be attending the AES Convention in New York, NY, USA. The event will be held at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center from the 9th to the 11th of October, 2024. The event is organized by the Audio Engineering Society (AES), gathering like-minded audio enthusiasts and professionals from around the world.

Brandenburg Labs will participate in inovailmenau 2024, a job fair that takes place in October every year, playing key role in the region’s job market over the past 26 years. inovailmenau, “one of the largest career fairs in Central Germany”, is the flagship project of SWING e.V. has solidified its position as an important career platform in Central Germany over the past 26 years. Run entirely by students, this career fair empowers students to shape and pursue their career trajectories, thanks to its diverse activities and the presence of major companies.
