As first-time exhibitors and finalists for the SXSW Innovation Award in the Audio Experience category, we had the incredible opportunity to showcase Okeanos Pro, a groundbreaking headphone-based system for professional audio mixing and education.

Our exhibition at Booth #1522 on the main show floor attracted a diverse crowd of industry professionals, audio engineers, educators, and technology enthusiasts.
Attendees had the chance to experience Okeanos Pro firsthand and explore how our advanced headphone-based system simulates virtual multi-channel loudspeaker systems through headphones with unparalleled realism. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing the impact of our innovation on the professional audio landscape.
While we didn’t take home the Innovation Award, being recognized as a finalist in the Audio Experience category was an honor in itself. This nomination placed us among the most forward-thinking companies in the industry, highlighting our commitment to pushing the boundaries of immersive sound technology. The visibility and credibility gained from this recognition will undoubtedly propel us forward in our mission.

Beyond the expo floor, our CEO, Dr. Karlheinz Brandenburg, captivated audiences at German Haus with his keynote, Beyond MP3: The Quest for Perfect Audio and What’s Next in Sound Technology. Following his talk, he joined a panel discussion titled Mediatech Connects: Insights, Innovation & Networking, where he exchanged ideas with fellow entrepreneurs on the future of media and technology.
