The 33rd Tonmeistertagung (TMT) was held from November 12th to 15th in Düsseldorf, Germany, bringing together audio professionals, researchers, and emerging talents from across the pro audio industry. Organized by the Verband Deutscher Tonmeister e.V., one of the world’s leading professional associations in art, media, and communication, the event offered insights into the latest technical solutions, demos, as well as networking opportunities. Brandenburg Labs was part of the event as an exhibitor and showcased its groundbreaking Deep Dive Audio technology.
Valuable feedback from our booth visitors
We were honored to welcome several visitors to our booth and present our Okeanos system, which replaces studio monitors without compromises for truly immersive audio mixing. Throughout the demos, we received excellent feedback and engaged in several in-depth discussions and insightful inputs on practical studio applications as well as future development of our technology.
One of the event highlights for us was the talk by our founder and CEO, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Karlheinz Brandenburg titled “Immersive Audio via Headphones: History, Current State of the Art and Future Developments.”
His talk explored the evolution of immersive audio through headphones, the psychoacoustics behind spatial perception, and how future adaptive systems, like our concept PARty (Personalized Auditory Reality), could make listening as natural and individualized as seeing with glasses.
We greatly appreciated the professional exchange with experts in audio engineering and fellow exhibitors. The TMT supporting program, with a relaxed social gathering atmosphere, offered a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and establish new relationships/partnerships.
