SALZ21
From May 11th – 12th 2022, Brandenburg Labs, together with TU Ilmenau and Kondeor GmbH, was invited to visit Salzburg, Austria to participate in SALZ21, the New Business Days by Messezentrum Salzburg. For two days, salz21 opened its stage for burning topics of our time and put selected startups in the spotlight by experts. The focus was on future topics such as Artificial Intelligence, New Mobility, Life Science, Green Tech, New Tourism, and Educational Technology. Our team had a great time presenting our newest demo, an interactive audio adventure, to the visitors of the event.
The story of the spaceship-themed immersive audio demo, designed by students of the TU Ilmenau, challenged the listeners to “save the ship from an evil AI”. The headphone-based demo guided the listeners through an interactive immersive audio scene, using spatial sound sources virtually located in the room. The feedback we received was very uplifting and rewarding. Meeting new people from many disciplines and assisting them to have the best interactive audio experience via headphones was the event’s highlight for us.
Immersive Audio Adventure Demo
On the first day, a fruitful panel discussion was conducted between our CEO Karlheinz Brandenburg and Dagmar Schuller, CEO of audEERING, about intelligent audio technology, its growth potential, and the integration of AI into hardware audio products.
Also, we appreciate the media’s interest in our work. Karlheinz Brandenburg was interviewed multiple times, including by the Travel Industry Club and Salz21 itself.
We are thankful to our partner Kondeor, represented by Dietmar Kepplinger at the event, for giving us the chance to participate in the SALZ21. We brought valuable experiences home and expanded our network.
